We ordered from here today and food came a bit cold. Food was pretty good! We ordered tacos, taquitos, wet burrito and chile relleno. It was all good except the chile relleno. Too salty and not good. The red chile reminded me of the king taco chile, it was good. Next time we're going to the restaurant and try out the food there.

Food was good! Nice place as i always pass by and decided to try it! I ended up getting the shrimp taco and a carne asada burrito! Shrimp taco was ok and the burrito was very good. The spicy salsa was the best and really made the food tasty. The waitress gave ok service! No eating inside, only outside seating i think. They wanted people to wait in the car while they bring you the food which was ok with me. Ordering was easy and food came out about 10-15 minutes. Asada Burrito 8/10 Shrimp Taco 7/10

Was craving some posole last week and their reviews were the best so i gave them a try. The posole was really good. It was not greasy and the flavor was just right. It was not too spicy, it was perfect. We also ordered the whole fried fish. It was so tasty. It was my boyfriends pick but i kept sneaking bites. Food was amazing. Would recommend and go back forsure. I was disappointed because we were not given any utensils. We were going to eat at the park because we have still not eaten in an establishment, but we had to take the food home because we needed utensils.

Delicious fresh, flavorful ceviche. I ordered pick up octopus, fish, shrimp tostadas (10 orders for 4 people and we had 2.5 packages for leftovers). Order of preference: octopus, fish, then shrimp. I ended up here by chance after 2 other places I called were closed and I am grateful I did. Great summer lunch- fresh, filling, and cold. The spicy salsa and chips we're perfect with the ceviche. The hot salsa is hot but a hit mixed with the ceviche

I don't know why we haven't been here! We live a few blocks away and can walk here, but typically end up at Lola's or Baja Sonora before it closed. La Casita Rivera deserves a spot in the rotation, especially since they are open fairly early for breakfast. After two weeks in Europe, I woke up my first morning back with a craving for a chorizo scramble for breakfast. I don't know why. Anyways, after a quick search for places, I found out that this spot was open. My scramble hit the spot and may be big enough for three meals! It was real chorizo too, not that soyrizo that a lot of other places serve. Service was nice and friendly too.

It's rainy it's pouring in California y'all but Mexican food is on my mind. Welcome to my first review in 2019 It's a dreary rainy day in California so you know I had to ride it out with some delicious food. I check yelp jump into my ride and head over to La Casita after looking at the positive reviews. The sidewalks are flooded so I call and ask if they can do a curbside delivery and they said yes. Here is my order. Shrimp A La Plancha with rice and beans two tamales and a Pina drink. Shrimp A La Plancha 8-10 grilled butterflied shrimp seasoned well surrounded by fresh cucumbers and shredded lettuce- the shrimp were delicious and cooked perfectly. The refried beans were delicious - My only complaint is the amount this was a very small amount approximately a 1/2 cup - they need to add more to my plate if I'm going to be a regular customer. The rice. Was tasty nothing special but it was very good - and once again the serving was very small they definitely need to add more to a customers plate. Chicken and a cheese jalapeño tamale. The chicken tamale was delicious with very tender masa I asked for a side of green sauce - poured the sauce on added some cheese and kicked it up a notch to extreme deliciousness - this combination was very tasty. That green sauce is fire. The cheese jalapeño tamale The masa is very sweet and has an unexpected taste combination that I don't care for and more importantly I couldn't see taste or find any cheese or jalapeño peppers in it. Maybe they accidentally gave me a dessert tamale? Because this tamale was plain inside empty of anything- I definitely would not have ordered this one. ; ( The salsa Was tasty I had a red one that was spicy and a red blended salsa that was mild both tasted delicious on my food. Tips to the owner. Chips and salsa It would have been nice to eat some with my food maybe the owner should think about placing a bag of chips and salsa inside to go orders. I always get chips at the other restaurants in the area ( with my order dining I or takeout ) it enhances the Mexican food experience. Chips and salsa are a must. ! Important tip to the owners. Increase the rice and bean portions they are way too small this is a definite must. ! I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy Mexican food in Long Beach. Next time I'll sit in and eat to get a better picture of all that they offer. I really appreciate the staff member bringing my order to my car on this rainy day so I tipped her well for her doing that for me. Until next time y'all. ; )

We all know that Tuesday + Lunchtime = Tacos ... A short drive to the trendy Bixby Knolls and some back alley parking led me to this gem hidden in plain sight. With ample amount of cozy seating available out front and inside, this beautifully decorated Mexican eatery was strangely empty on a Tuesday afternoon which made me slightly skeptical on whether to eat here or not. But without much time to spare and a craving for tacos I decided to give it a try. My beautiful and friendly waitress brought some fresh and tasty homemade tortilla chips and salsa to the table. I ordered the 4 amigos of tacos (asada, pollo, pastor and carnitas) with rice and beans. Everything was pretty good. The meats were well seasoned and the servings were plentiful. My meal was a high price of $12 on taco Tuesday, but still it was all worth it. Would I come back here again? Sí, seguro!
